Students will be able to engage in higher level reading in a whole group setting with diversity enriched text. This project will give students the opportunity to have physical books in their hands and expand their thinking by making written connections. Current books outside our basal series are falling apart and outdated. We want our students to love literature and have adequate resources to do so. The culture of our district is ever-changing, and these chapter books embrace that diversity. Students will be able to immerse themselves in the literature with having individual copies to use. Our students will highly benefit from this project being funded.

About my class
