I have the privilege of working at a quaint and cozy school just outside of Houston. My students are all unique and different in their own special way. I teach the 2nd grade English Second Language class for math and science. Majority of the students in my class are from overseas and will transition both in and out of my classroom throughout the year due to their parents jobs. The students are very energetic, love to learn and interact with each other. They enjoy challenging each other at stations and working hands on in groups. My students rarely sit at their desks and independently work. Instead, students travel to various spots in the room to complete engaging work with partners. Students switch classes halfway through the day which allows my resources to be shared with twice as many students.
