I recently finished my first year of teaching at a high-need, low-income school located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and am already looking forward to the 2015-2016 school year. This coming year, I will be working in a self-contained classroom with students ranging from Pre-K to 6th grade. The students I will be working with are those who are the most profoundly affected by their disabilities and require the most academic intervention.
