Our students have endured many challenges this year due to Covid-19 and it has affected my 6th grade musicians tremendously. To follow the safety guidelines our district has set in place we have had to cancel our after school choir and the school musical this year. These are big events that sixth grade enjoys immensely, and I want to find a way to make their last year in elementary memorable. I would like to provide them a class set of ukuleles, so I could give them something to look forward to this spring before they set off for junior high.
