We are a middle school class in a low income community with 100% of our students receiving subsidized lunches. Our student struggle with everyday life and have little to no opportunities to truly experience things that other children their age get to. They are a group of 12 amazing students in a Special Education Self-Contained classroom that require many different modifications and material to help them learn and succeed. I would love for my students to be able to increase their math, reading, and writing abilities and feel that they are worth more than what their environment allows.

About my class
