Our students are underprivileged youth attending a Title I school. They are hard workers who strive to be the best. Our school also strives for excellence and encourages a collaborative approach towards learning where the focus is not in textbooks, rather in everyday occurrences, such as going to the store, developing critical-thinking skills, or researching information and strategies online. Our school is in a high-poverty neighborhood and works hard to not only incorporate technology into the curriculum, but also reaches out to involve the community as an active stakeholder in the learning process.
