All children LOVE technology. When technology is paired with learning, students become engaged and more interested in learning. In speech therapy, the opportunities to utilize technology are endless. In order to access the multitude of available apps and communication devices, my classroom needs a new iPad Pro with larger memory capacity and a larger screen. My current device is antiquated with a small capacity and small screen to match. It is difficult for multiple students to see in small groups, and for the new visually impaired student, virtually impossible to see. Technology is the future, especially for our children. The use of technology in speech therapy opens endless possibilities to help all children find their voice.
