Using stability balls through out the classroom will help ensure students are not bored with their seating arrangements. The stability ball chairs will reach many different types of learners and allow students to help maintain academic momentum. Flexible seating promotes healthy learning since students are able to maintain focus for longer periods of time. It will promote academic growth. My students will have the opportunity to focus on learning rather the comfort of the classroom. The stability chairs might be just what is needed help children with sensory processing disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or just a strong need to move around to be successful in the classroom.
