This project will ensure my students get a leg up in a technologically growing world. The use of simple coding machines, and LEGO story starter kit will make sure my students are engaged and synergizing in the beginning of our STEM journey and green screen creativity The materials in this project will fuel their creative ingenuity and enhance their learning experience. We will be developing real life skills that they can utilize in multiple career paths in their futures. Also, this project will give students in a Title I school opportunities that they would otherwise not have access to. Included in this project are many hands on math and reading manipulatives that will allow my students to anchor concepts taught in class by building or weighing objects. The sumblox are an engaging way to build and learn math facts. The wood pieces are a way to build settings for their fictional narratives, and also recreate familiar fairy tales.
