My students are a extremely eager learners, who embrace life, and are experts at overcoming challenges. Our school is in an impoverished urban setting, with 99% minority and over 95% free and reduced lunch. Most of my students lack basic life experiences, such as camping, that help promote imagination, and creative thinking. They would love to gain first hand knowledge of some of the experiences they read about. I would like to culminate this school year (Camp Learn A Lot) by taking all the students on an overnight camping trip.

About my class
