Movement and Technology- providing equal opportunities for special education students and their learning. The correlation between poverty and special education is strong and education systems need to pay more attention to these students' needs. These children need to be served just as well as those in the upper and middle classes, as they have the same capacity to learn as their peers (UNC School of Education). My special education students need 7 -12" Hokki Stools in order to provide alternate seating in order to keep them focused on their learning and well as 10 Chromebooks in order to integrate technology and help to support and increase their academic and social skills goals.
