My students have a wide range of needs and abilities and it makes every day a unique adventure. Our school building is much older and therefore our furnishings are older or second-hand. My aides and I spend a lot of time figuring out ways to adapt what we have in our classroom to assist our students and be functional in our day to day activities. In order to move forward in creating a classroom that is geared towards the TEACCH methodology we need materials we simply do not have.
