My project will provide an opportunity for my students to have access to current technology to enhance their learning experience. Technology is essential to the learning process in our world today. One program I plan to use on the tablets is called Seesaw. It's a tablet friendly program designed to allow students to photograph and archive their work into personal digital portfolios which can be shared with their families. I feel this app will instill responsibility and accountability, especially during centers when they're working independently. These tablets will also provide much needed practice time on the iStation Reading program that our school district uses. Currently they only get to use the program once per week in our school's computer lab. The learning possibilities are endless with these tablets!
