Our class is twenty Kindergarten children. I inherited a classroom without any books for the children to read. The students are beginning readers who need a variety of books to explore. They need to practice using their newly learned reading strategies. The key to developing and improving these skills is having books for the children to read. I am interested in creating a classroom library to provide all students books that are on their reading levels. I have been collecting books from book sales and purchasing them on my own. The children would benefit from having more books available for them to read. I am also interested in adding four square beanbag ottomans for seating in our classroom. It is important to have a variety of comfortable seating available for the children.
