My students are amazing and full of potential! Each of my students has a disability of some sort which acts an obstacle to their learning. It takes patience, practice, and lots of hard work for them to achieve their goals, but I am never disappointed in them. For some students, it is a learning disability that stands in the way of them being successful in the general education classroom, for others, it's behavior. However, we all manage to work together to meet individual goals. I work for a school district which services primarily low income families. All students in our district qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Our classroom budgets are not very large, but we make the most with what we have and find creative ways to work around what we don't.
