Having these MakeBlock robots in the classroom will allow the learning to go a step further. In class, we utilize a lot of free online coding resources. Instead of just coding on the computer and watching what happens on the screen. The many students that I teach will experience something tangible as the result of their coding. Their coding in class will COME TO LIFE and translate into movement, lights and sounds that they can experience. They will get the opportunity to work in small groups to accomplish a program or common goal. These robots will reinforces teamwork and social skills, which are critical for their future in school and the workforce. Building and creating with robots would be a brand new opportunity for most of these students. It will be an amazing experience for them!
