My classroom has a revolving door. You see, at East Chester Elementary, we switch classes for all content areas. This means somewhere around 75 students come in and out of my classroom each school day. They use community supplies, computers are used all day, the tables and the chairs belong to everyone - we are definitely a community of learners! There is no such thing as 'this is my space' in our classroom. Our children are from rural areas and we are a Title 1 school with approximately 60% of students on free and reduced lunch.
