As the new school year begins, teachers are facing many new challenges. My school is divided into cohorts and this year I will be responsible for teaching 2nd grade to both general and special education students remotely. I love teaching in person, so this year will definitely be challenging. However, I plan on working hard to give my students what they need to succeed. I am requesting a tripod stand to assist me in recording videos for my students, office supplies to help keep me organized, and classroom pillows to help keep my classroom warm and inviting. That being said, recorded videos and live instruction will be a critical component in their virtual learning on a daily basis. There will be many students with different needs, and by using a color coded system I will be able to keep track of their learning. In addition, the pillows will promote positivity during difficult times and help to maintain a sense of calm. Thank you!
