I teach 4 different grades, kindergarten through 3rd grade, special education reading, writing and math. We are a Title I school, which means most of our students are on free or reduced lunch. Every single one of my students has a very different learning disability and/or social/emotional need. Almost all of them are below grade level and struggle with school on a daily basis. Most of them also go to a reading intervention group as well as receive special education instruction. Aside from growing up in a low income neighborhood and performing below grade level, all of my students are very hard working and are willing to go the extra mile to catch up to their classmates. I want to be able to give them a better chance of getting there via creative, academic technology.
