I am blessed to teach the bright-eyed, enthusiastic first graders in a diverse, rural primary school. All first graders are full of energy, and this energy is welcome, making every day an adventure! However, for some of my students this amount of energy creates a struggle due to their inability to focus and keep attentive to a task. Research based instructional strategies and behavior management help this issue, but some students are still in need of additional attention support.

About my class
