This new teacher's plan: Turn things around through teaching! I as well as numerous other teachers are on a mission to provide our students with the exceptional education that they deserve. Our student population of over 500 students is about 88 percent low-income and nearly 50 percent English language learners. A turnaround plan that includes extended days, an increase in staff and two additional weeks of professional development has been setup. Several changes in the process being made by all involved, many of which will be new to the school, can be costly. Help from others makes our mission easier to achieve. Thank you ahead of time for your generosity.
