My students are high needs, special education students who have a love for learning, but are faced with unique challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges that they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. Due to the special needs associated with their learning disabilities, they require extra care, attention, and resources. Unfortunately, the resources that they require can be difficult to come by in an overcrowded, urban school where the needs are many. My students have limitless ability, and so much love for learning. Luckily, our cozy school in Queens relentlessly fosters that love, while consistently challenging them. As a result, they are confident, outgoing, intelligent, and endlessly hilarious! Please help me create an environment that caters to their varying needs; all they need is an extra hand!
