The children will be able to demonstrate understanding of language, literacy, phonics, and phonemes through instructional learning. The children in my class will be able to enjoy the information that they learn from books and compare it to real-life situations. They will have a chance to describe, relate, and categorize by comparing and contrasting information learned. The children will be able to understand of print directions which includes top to bottom and right to left. The children will also respond to newly acquired vocabulary by using complete sentences. Children will understand how we read by using phonemes to blend words to increase knowledge awareness.
