T Elementary is a Title I school. Our district has adopted "Drive your Own Device," which encourages children to bring in their devices for instructional purposes. Unfortunately, many of our students are unable to participate in the push for using devices in the class due to financial strain. I have a diverse classroom. I also have several students who are are 1-2 years below in reading. Some of my students receive reading instruction in a Resource classroom due to some type of learning disability. Some of my students are ELL's (English Language Learners). The one thing they all have in common is the desire to learn and have the same resources as any other student to be successful in school.
