Our 6th grade team is looking for opportunities to promote community building through literacy. During this turbulent time, it is important to promote love, compassion, respect, and appreciation for all. The best way to achieve this goal is to educate and discuss differences with appreciation. The literature set that we have requested will be used to build student community through interactive literature studies that incorporate art and creativity. The unit will be completed with the student's choice of a book project including a skit, poster or lapbook and watching the movie together.

About my class
