I am a special education teacher who needs to be prepared to meet my student's academic and emotional needs. Some days, my students are ready to come in and learn. Others, we must use other methods to access the curriculum. My students love art, and physical activities. They also love when we used these strengths to expand their knowledge. They often take it as a welcome distraction from their struggles they are experiencing at home. My classroom is a safe place and we all take pride in it!
