Flexible seating options will make a difference in my students' learning! Students will be given the opportunity to choose the seating location that works best for their learning style. This type of choice is empowering to my students. During independent work time, students are able to move around the room and away from their traditional desks. Students sit on the floor, use lap tables, and stand or sit at tables. I want to create a highly engaging environment in my classroom where students are comfortable to do their best learning. Being able to find the best location to work is important to my students and motivates them to do well. The flexible seating options increase engagement in the classroom. My students almost always make the right choice where to work and I have been surprised to see that productivity also increases when students are working in a location that suits their needs. The products I have selected will grow my students' options for flexible seating. All these options will lead to more effective learning. The stools will benefit my students that need to sit in a seat that does not have a back to increase their attention on a task. The balls will help my students that might need more movement throughout the working time than a typical chair provides. The ball will allow those students to get their wiggles out and increase their focus. The fidget bands will be attached to chairs. The fidget bands will provide the little movement that my students need to help them maintain their engagement. I have witnessed that seating options have been beneficial for my students! I have seen it help them! With more seating options, my students will only grow and their engagement will definitely increase!
