My classroom needs some bean bags and alternative seating to help engage and encourage my third graders to read more! It is important for my students to get these materials because helping them develop a joy for reading is pivotal for their success as they grow. By adding bean bag chairs in the library, my students will be able to spend more time reading in the library and build their literacy. Third grade is the first year my students are expected to read to learn. Reinforcing the joy of reading through comfortable library seating will foster that value and of reading growth in other academic areas.

About my class
