Hello, my name is Robert Adams. I teach music to children in grades PK3 - 8. I have been doing this for 30 years. During those 30 years, I have found that children learn better, and what they learn has a greater positive impact on their lives, if they can learn through personal interests. Nearly all of my older students have an interest in learning to play the piano, yet very few of them can afford piano lessons. At the same time, piano is a great resource to teach musicianship, including music reading, performance, improvisation, and composition. Right now, my ability to reach these children is limited by a lack of pianos. Won't you join me in bringing the joy and benefits of music to my middle school students, by funding the purchase of piano keyboards for my school?
