I teach at a Title 1 school, which is a school where the majority of the students come from low income families. We have students who are McKinney Vento, which means they are currently homeless. My students in particular are all living with a disability, and their ability and severity levels vary. Some of my students require special equipment to function and access the school environment. My classroom consist of non-verbal, verbal, visually impaired, and Orthopedically impaired students. Despite my students living with disabilities they are full of life and enthusiastic about learning. They love learning new things and the opportunity to participate in whole group hands on activities and share what they know.
