Last year I began implementing flexible seating in my classroom and saw great success! It made students excited about learning and increased their ownership of the learning process. My goal this year is to fully integrate flexible seating into my classroom and get rid of all desks! I will replace the desks with Wobble Chairs, Rest Mats, Bouncy Bands, Sit-Upons, and Textured Pillows. No one does their best work in a hard chair. Students spend so much time in the classroom and deserve to be comfortable. By donating to this project you will help my students improve their attention and most importantly make them excited about learning. Flexible seating gives students choices which in turn makes them more invested in what they are learning. It also reduces behavior problems. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my project!
