I am a fresh-out-of-college, second year teacher, and more than excited to meet my 5th graders! Waimanalo, Hawaii is a high poverty area, however, I believe that shouldn't effect my students learning in my classroom. I'd like to provide them with care and safety where they feel free to explore their curious minds. But, that starts with me providing the right environment for the students to prosper! I truly believe learning in a classroom starts by building a community.
