Greetings from Butcher Greene Elementary! Home of the most creative young minds in the Midwest! We have a very diverse population of students. Our enrollment has increased and so has our enthusiasm for the exploration of artistic processes and techniques. Unfortunately our budget cannot meet the needs of the art program at our school. Our students have shown initiative by recycling old markers and turning them into paint, we also recycle paper and create art by using found objects. I am amazed by what the students at Butcher Greene are able to create. It is my hope that we will be able to expand our experiences and continue to grow as artists.
