My students come to class every day, excited to learn something new! For many, our classroom is a safe haven from the world around them. We are a culturally and economically diverse population, with equally diverse learning styles. Over 60 percent of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch, which means they are from families in great financial need. Many of my students' parents are unable to assist them with homework after school. Thus, providing as much help during school hours becomes of the utmost importance. Your donations will empower these underprivileged students with tools for success and a world of possibilities. My students will see that even though they may face greater hardships in life than their peers, they deserve, and are worth, every opportunity for success. Thank you so much for considering our project!
