My students are spunky, inquisitive, challenging, determined, loving and intelligent. They are tenacious and overcome challenging adversities both inside and outside the classroom while maintaining motivation and a curiosity for the world around them. Our school is attempting to break the cycle of historically under-served populations being held down in education due to lack of resources. Our students do not have computers and internet at home, unlike their more affluent peers.
