When Covid hit, many of the books in my classroom were sent home with students to facilitate their “at-home” learning. When we didn’t return the rest of the year, those books were not recovered. The books I have requested will replenish books lost during the covid shutdown and expand the classroom library to provide a range of voices and experience for my rural students. Additionally, these books can facilitate continued “at-home” learning, when necessary, for my students. This project, and specifically access to these books, will facilitate learning for my students during and after Covid outbreaks.
