I am a middle school counselor and I love my job. I have spent my entire 20 years in education working at the middle school level. First as a teacher and then as a counselor. My job affords me with the opportunity to help kids with their personal problems, grade concerns, anxiety and other social issues they experience in Middle School. My favorite quote is "Live so that when your children think of fairness, caring, and integrity, they think of you." - H. Jackson Brown, Jr. I try to model that for my students every day. I am also one of the cheer coaches at my school. I have a special place in my heart for special needs students and enjoy counseling and coaching. This year my cheer squad became the 34th Sparkle Effect team in the country which allows disabled students to be on the cheer squad. I am so very blessed to be able to wake up each day and know I make a difference in the lives of children.
