I will use these materials to provide individualized instruction to help students in my classroom (especially struggling readers)! Every child deserves the chance to be successful and materials that are on their individual level help make this possible. Our materials could really use some updating so that more teachers in my building have access to them and can use them more effectively!! I will use these materials in guided reading groups that consist of a very small group of students so that I can give each child what they need to be successful. This will especially be helpful with getting the students that are behind grade level caught up with their peers so that when they leave my class, they are ready for the next grade level.
