The majority of my students are on free and reduced lunch, come from single parent homes (many raised by grandparents) and simply do not have the opportunity for exposure and familiarity to technology that is so critically important for students. The 2015-16 school year will be an exciting one as I begin my 19th year of doing what I feel I was placed on this earth to do. I am a passionate first grade teacher with the goal that all my students have the same educational opportunity as neighboring schools in spite of poverty levels, backgrounds, and/or disabilities. I strive to empower my students with the education they need to be successful in all their avenues of life.
