With ever-increasing curriculum demands, my little first graders have big math concepts to learn: counting to 100, addition and subtraction, and money. Without a good foundation of these math skills, my students could struggle in future grades. These skills are much more concrete for my students when you put supplies in their small hands. Using kinesthetic learning, these new and difficult concepts will just "click". First grade can be so tricky for my little learners, but with all of these great manipulatives we can conquer any objectives! Please help Mrs. D's delightful 1st graders!!!
