The Lunenburg HS Greenthumb Horticulture program started over 35 years ago & offers a unique experience to our students. The Greenhouse is longer funded. Our gh & Horticulture class has been a place for many students to excel, explore, & escape from some of the everyday hassles. They have learned to grow &care for plants. We have an inclusion program where we all enjoy learning & working with special service students. My students look forwarded to their time in the gh &seeing their plants/projects grow & change. We have entered the Boston Flower Show for 20+yrs. Students leave the class with real life skills & a positive learning experience. Many students have returned to the gh to donate their time or look for more training. We have an amazing collection of plants in our newly renovated gh. Students raise funds by selling plants, bulbs, holiday centerpieces, & more. Please help fund our gh manager position!
