Carvers Bay Middle is a "Title One" school. My school is located in a high poverty area, which limits my students' ability to access technology due to "little to no" access to technology, besides at school. We know that in order to be competitive in the 21st Century job market, have knowledge about coding or computer science is a necessity. I would like to introduce my middle school students to the world of coding, to give them a competitive edge, as well as expose them to the potential career such as robotics. Inside my classroom, they will be introduced to computer languages such as HTML, Javascript, and problem-solving skills.
