We are striving to use more technology in our classroom everyday. As our school is working hard to implement this, it is very expensive. We have a SmartBoard that we use daily, and it is very hard to teach without it because it is how I interact with the class, and it is also my dry erase board. My projector is 6 years old and has decided not to work. It makes it very difficult to interact with my students without one. As the world of education moves more towards technology, I do not want my students to miss out. The SmartBoard/projector is something that we use for every subject, as it makes learning more interactive. My students use it for math centers, site word help, and interactive activities for Science and Social Studies. All of these things are not possible without a projector.
