My primary focus is of students with disabilities. Many need more movement in their lives than school can afford them the opportunities for. As a result, they become too easily distracted and naturally distract others. This project is a simple and easy way to keep students engaged and support their learning. Because they are so easily distracted, they miss key components of learning, which impacts their ability to read and write. Often, students have a stronger listening vocabulary. This can support their deficits in reading and writing. Headphones for our iPads (to listen to recorded material) combined with flexible seating supports multiple needs at once.
