I teach 60 sixth grade students in the central Indiana area. We are a public school who serve students with diverse backgrounds. My students ethnic data is 58% White, 17% Asian, 12% Hispanic, 6% Black, 6% Multi-racial. Over 61% of our students receive free and reduced lunch. 6th grade is an awesome grade to teach because my students haven't hit the hormonal middle school years yet. This means that they are still very interested in learning and experiences new things.
