“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn” (Benjamin Franklin) is one of my favorite quotes. My kids benefit the most when they have the hands-on materials to work out problems and learn new concepts in math. My classroom is set up with math stations where the students rotate. The items I am wishing for will be used for the hands on experience while making learning fun. When learning is fun, they want to learn. Laughing and learning makes happy kids.
