Aloha, and welcome to my classroom, in Hawaii. I teach 3rd grade on a historic base. Aircraft carriers, submarines, and even fighter jets can be seen coming and going from the back of our campus. It is an honor and a privilege in knowing that our school serves our military community. My students are from military families (Air Force and Navy). They are extremely motivated and eager to learn. The struggles we face as a school are a lack of funding and resources to keep up with the current technology. I would love to provide my students with a computer work center that will enable me to teach my students the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills that they will need to throughout their lives.
