These books will be used as Science Journals to record the findings of my "young scientist." This record keeping is important for students to continually assess their understanding and add more to ideas to deepen their understanding of the topic. Distance learning through the use of technology has created some unique opportunities for students to explore a plethora of content materials. The students need to keep a record of what they have learned and build upon that idea. The concept of journaling encourages students to conduct experiments, record observations, and in that process make interesting discoveries through writings and images.
