Students will use the seat cushions for buddy reading and during peer editing around the room. The markers will help bring the student's writing and illustrations to life when they publish their work. The earbuds are greatly needed during reading intervention time to help students focus, while not distracting other learners. The science items such as the geodes and dinosaur eggs will engage learners about life science and earth science. Finally, the incentive rewards will encourage students engagement and joy of learning. Our class knows that by rewarding the students with these incentives for behavior, the positive behaviors will eventually become engraved in them and they will do these things because it is simply who they are as people!
