My classroom has mixed needs and wants. Students range in need and ability. I often have children who have been read to daily before school even started (which increases their fluency), but I also have students who have never had that opportunity. I just moved to a new school where the staff is friendly and loves every child that walks in the door. Students feel safe in my school and want to learn. I just want to provide the materials that would best spark interest and engagement.
